Mogul Wireless

Mogul has monitored temperature, humidity and room pressure for hospitals, pharmacies and laboratories since 2008. Lotus has looked after the platform behind it since 2015: the web app that raises the alarm, and the service that collects every reading.

Lately

  • Alert texts people can trust: verified numbers, delivery reports, and a warning when a number stops working.
  • Alert calls in a natural voice, and alerts for doors and room pressure.
  • Two-factor sign-in, and password resets that are hard to abuse.
  • An admin in Mogul’s own colours.

KARM Thrift Stores

KARM runs thrift stores, and sells ThriftTrac, its software for running them, to other thrift stores. What started in 2016 as an audit of an aging Rails app is now a platform: ThriftTrac, its API, the OnTrac point of sale on iPad, and a shared pricing guide.

Lately

  • Moved KARM’s stores to a new card processor in the middle of the BridgePay outage. The story.
  • Built the Pricing Guide in 2024, for the iPads and Chromebooks on the shop floor.
  • Keep ThriftTrac, its API, OnTrac and the Pricing Guide running, and growing.
